Arbitration Law

Arbitration is a type of Alternative Dispute Resolution that results from the interested parties, usually by contract, agreeing to settle their dispute with one or more impartial third-parties (known as "arbitrators"), who issue a binding decision to the interested parties. Arbitration is follows less formal rules of evidence and procedure than what is used in a trial court. Arbitration is usually a quicker, cheaper way to resolve disputes than going to trial. However, even though the Arbitrator(s) can issue a binding agreement, a trial court still has limited review of these decisions.
